P.E.I. Historic and Reproduction Clothing

This blog displays the various period reproduction projects and events I am involved in. I have been collecting historic clothing, and making reproduction period clothing, since the summer I portrayed the Father of Confederation Andrew A. MacDonald for the 125th Anniversary celebrations of the birth of Canada. This blog began in 2010 to mark the 100th Anniversary of Lucy Maud Montgomery's marriage and our reproduction project creating the outfits in her wedding trousseau.

Lots of Interest in the Trousseau

I've had lots of feedback from recent articles in the media on the reproduction of LM Montgomery's Trousseau. Many emails and calls - I've also had a few people offer me their vintage garments to add to my collection. Over the past few years I've gathered a good collection of historic garments and costumes. You are also attracting attention from lots of blog readers! I shared about the trousseau and linked to your information on my blog and everyone has gone nuts with it. Many of us design costumes and are Anne fans as well. Thank you so much for sharing your projects here. Anything you can share is wonderful!
